I loved the bouncy dodging to survive in death valley during the alpha of firefall (around March of 2013?).

Recluse became my favorite frame after they reworked the assault frame.

I loved the game so much before they started trying to remake it to be like other games and minimized player skill.

GOOD LORD WHAT A GOLDMINE OF NOSTALGIA! I just spent an hour reading all the old posts starting from early 2013 Beta! Now this brings me back! All the huge updates and cool changes.. trying to figure out whats what in crafting.. So much fun.
You know you have good gameplay mechanics when the main thing to do in Beta was Thump and craft and it never got old!

Old firefall players? I'm not the oldest, but I remember Closed Beta weekends, and remember falling in love with the game during one. YT actually put up an ad and led me to the game, so glad I clicked on that ad

Small edit: Old IG name was Chist if anyone remembers me flailing about in the good 'ol Nighthawk
