in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting I worked on at like 14, fashion was like now except adding more of the details. there are jackets with two rows of buttons? three rows of buttons! shirt cuffs are a thing? pant cuffs in the same style! not because I thought it would look good, but because these things don't make sense in the first place and it's funny if they're weirder in the future.

it's nice that they're trying to make practical items for people who mind looking weird, and I might buy some, but it also feels like we're living in satire written by a child, and I love it. and that's not because it's cool or inspirational.
I agree the prosthetic might be more cool/inspirational; it's different when it's art or custom made for a specific person. the toes are a bit much, though.
