Everyone needs to keep in mind, both Grummz and Ronyn receive TONS of messages each day. I'm sure it's a job in itself just to read through all of them. Terib, myself, and others try to help where we can with answers and information. However, backer titles are something only Ronyn can do.
As for whether linking your Firefall account went through, if you didn't check at the time you performed the link, that would be a question @Xeevis can answer.
