It took around 3-5 hours as i'm just a novice(to put it gently) at it, i know of the basics and i just started testing things as i made it from single piece steel rod. Sadly no i haven't done any smithing work after, i mean i could do something if my fathers place weren't such a mess and i actually was given a opportunity to clean there and set up. (getting the coal, ventilation for the forge and maybe a bigger anvil but that small old anvil might do just fine. )
