so there are god rules about animals, but those rules are actually for the benefit of humans like "don't overhunt" and "don't overload your horse". and god still punished animals for the transgressions of humans. after the fall, god made animals start to kill each other. one plage of egypt killed cattle. there's the flood. and god asked for animal sacrifice sometimes. like even if it's stopped now, if the bible is to be believed, someone omnipotent and good decided for a long time that the best way he could punish people was to make them kill their livestock for no gain but absolution. I think that's because it's not omnipotent; it's just some dead people, and when you're not omnipotent you have to be pragmatic.
like statistically someone here should be abrahamic, but I don't know. something to think about.
