I hate driving in the winter storms. There is always a bunch of idiots that decide to drive fast on ice because their cars or trucks got 4WD. I hate them because they always crash and make a horrible commute for everyone they didn't crash into.
I especially hate the dumb ass that was riding my bumber and flashing his high beams at me while I was driving slowly because the freaking ice storm that is hitting NYC at the moment. Tunnel vision at it's best because everyone else was driving a 3 lane highway as if it was 2 lanes and leaving the middle lane empty. The dumb ass finally realized there was a large gap between my car and the truck to my left. He drove off pretty angrily based on the horns and shouting he did, I applied my brakes carefully assuming the asshole would jump into my lane and he didn't surprise me.
That dude spun and the natural laws of science pulled his BMV suv into the concrete divider. Somehow that accident destroyed his headlights so I and everyone behind me wasn't blinded by his high beams.
I didn't stop, there is a freaking nor'easter here and there is enough state cops and NYPD on the highways tonight that I'm sure he got help.
Seriously, I couldn't even drive 2 miles without seeing a cop car sitting on the side of highway. I kinda of pity the cops on duty though. And the firemen. And everyone working in the medical field this winter.
