In 1999 my younger sister successfully defended herself from an attacker in a Boston multilevel parking garage late at night by brandishing her conceal carry pistol. She was tackled from behind while getting into her car, managed to kick away and roll to a position to get her 5:00 IWB carry pistol out and the attacker ran away. When seconds count the police are minutes away..
