essentially coyote kills stuff above ground that gets away from badger that is killing stuff below ground and vice versa.

It so would work as a old cartoon animation and place the picture such a way so people don't see what their eating and having like dinner time arguments. The coyote could be like energetic type who's like:"C'mon let's go!" as the badger is going around like:"You damn long legged knife ear quit running off like that.." like a grumpy dwarf. Like you know a proper buddy comedy except with a coyote and a badger.
