From what i have read the mental image i had was something on the lines of this. Give or take.. Without the frame your more or less screwed unless you know how to leg it.

I like the idea. It got me thinking what would happen if you allowed the use of your frame turning combat when your friends frame is busted/broken and you have like a instant frame drop out cooldown so you could keep them in the fight. Or would it cancel out the ability to call down a new frame...
