I think I saw a long time ago now a gun the Israeli army was using that actually had the stock bend so they could flip the barrel around the corner of a building and like in that photo watch remotely an fire, but still stabilize the stock at right angle to the barrel. That was a while back - same concept.

no, he is proning to aim over the wall, maybe into a windows or door, idk. But exposing yourself too much in combat is fatal, so stay low, and dont get your head and chest blown to shit.
