Siding with the Kaiju ?
Well, if you're talking about the Kaiju have some sort of ability to communicate with us or we have the technology or equipment to put a leash on one, yeah. If not, nah. I don't trust no giant alien that can break my neck in any moment it like to do it.

Or Tsi-Hu defector, you know, they got tired of their upper's shit and decided to look for the help of the outsiders. They could have valuable information about their uppers and maybe they can show us how their stuff works so we can hit them where it hurts.

Goddang this is turning into one of those "win the hearts and mind" stuff. But hey, it could work, who knows. If it doesn't work out, well, we still have Mr.Torgue on standby.

But come to think of it, if we can obtain some of them Tsi-Hu techs, maybe we can learn on how to "domesticate" a Kaiju with it. Or continue to study their stuff and make the better version out of it, like what we did in the XCOM games.

And maybe this would help to develop the lore, or gameplay, which one side support this whole fiasco with trying to get the alien tech and helping Tsi-Hu defectors, and the other side that doesn't trust the Tsi-Hu and the alien techs stuff. Tension grows between the two sides and you gotta do what you gotta to do to push the terraforming effort forward and not to piss the other side off or you might lose access to their gear and stuff.
