Seasons and events!

Seasons:
They could have a lot of events with many different thematics.

Reaper Pass:
Some kind of events could be the reaper pass (a kind of battle pass), and since the game is buy to play the pass should be free, and the cosmetics could be purchased with real money for those players that don’t have time to complete it.

Lore and world events:
Each season could have specific lore (and missions) and world events to be tested by players.

Crossovers:
Other events that could be at the same time with the reaper pass (and if the game is in a good economical health) could be crossovers with movies, anime, games…
E.G. a season where the theme was Pacific Rim, we could have skins for our weapons, thmprs… and the omniframe skins could be jaegars and the tsi-hu and kaiju could have skins from the movies.

I like the idea of crossover events with special skins this also includes special festival events too.

Would the seasonal events change the enviromental setting too how would it differ to the world of earth in the change of seasons hmmm

Lore and events could we add our part to the lore or to our character lore that could link to the main lore, and when the events happen what would make it special like a halloween pumpkin head kaiju of doom with flaming vines who tries to destory all mech pilots for disturbing his resting ground?
The kaiju pumpkin lord can summon flying minions with high tech stealth capabilities vanishing and reappearing in the skies in the blink of an eye!

Perhaps several easter eggs that drops from the sky and explodes on impact releasing spawns of chroma kaiju rabbit to invade the base. If they capture the base it turns into an strange egg the more eggs are around the less power mechs could have :O

What about a new year gateway special everyone goes into the gate before the new year to find special items and bp in this alternate world but it brings greater risks as there are wraiths that can go through you immobilizing your mech for possible takeover or distruction. Avoiding the wraiths and hiding is important to avoid them or you have less time to find the goodies and escape.
