What if you didn't want to be a big target e.g. mechs could you still glide
as the pilot with a special suit depending on the situation?

or something like this when the silverhawks shoot out of the crafts and spread their wings
to glide

Can't see why either of those ideas couldn't be a thing. It could be an emergency response, too. Get ejected from your mech before it is...teleported?...back to the garage, while you shoot up in the air and deploy some wings to fly back. Because maybe they can't teleport organic matter, so they couldn't just pop you back to base. But, then...it would be faster and more safe with our mechs. Sure, they're a bigger target, but we're downright squishy. And squashy.

Not to mention on a volcanic planet there is going to be plenty of lava which naturally produces sulfur dioxide which is toxic in large amounts and large amounts of it collecting in an atmosphere leads to acid rain. Not to mention the planet would be far hotter, so it will be easier for people to cook themselves without proper protection.

Would you really want to leave the protective shielding of your mech and have to travel on foot long distances, or glide long distances through toxic clouds of vapor, in heat that could easily exceed 150-200 degrees where the rain wont even cool you off but melt through your flesh and clothing?

Absolutely not. I want boosters/jump-jet and the wings on my mech to glide around with.

Pity those whose bare feet shall stand on EM-8ER,
therefore they will be painfully melted xD
