Perhaps this also needs the theme applied than the default.

I personally just turn them off, as they get spammy fast. I recall doing the same thing on FireFall forums. Though making it look closer to the forums style is probably a good idea.

I don't know if you can change the theme of those emails unless you fix a addon for it or change some code.

I disabled them just now since I got about 30 within the past 2 hours.

I disabled them but I still seem to be getting watched thread replies, strange.

Yeah, you really need to edit the php for xenforo templates by the look of it or add the Email Customizer 1.1.0 addon.

Yes, I disabled it from 2 different settings including the one you're talking about.

Once you changed those settings you won't receive any emails from new threads you post on, but all the threads that you have already been subscribed too will still mail you, so you'll have to manually unwatch them.
Works totally fine for me.

That makes sense, will try that later.

It worked.
For anybody having the same issues, read below.
Go here http://forums.emberthegame.com/watched/threads.
Open your watched threads, scroll up and on the top right click unwatch and confirm it.
Then click rewatch and choose "without email notifications" and make sure you have email notifications disabled from your settings as well.
