Honestly I just want good gameplay. Deep movement, fun guns with good feedback, enemies and environments that play to the strengths of both, and no giant grind to get in the way. Too much customization and weapons that are needlessly obtuse actually causes me to be less interested in a game, the former because it's generally used to compensate for bad balance and low depth and the latter because the "different for the sake of the setting/being different" weapons are generally not designed well, and create a hassle for new players. This means that I'm teaching the basics rather than the good stuff when helping newbies out
