New World is the new Anthem

I've seen too many very well thought-out arguments.

From abysmal PvP, including forcing its results on PvE players, to gathering and crafting.. the activity loop is awful.

It will not survive on only its well-polished but non-notable gameplay.

I'm calling it the new Anthem. It will be another glorious trash fire from which we can all learn.

but then I haven't been paying attention to gaming for awhile now, so that's understandable.

Amazon owns Twitch, so I suppose they advertised and incentivized a bunch of streamers to also advertise for them.

I've been paying attention to reviews for some time now. Even the attempts to fix the game are breaking things in new and unique ways. Fundamental underlying technologies seem to be too amateur to be functional in today's world, and may well be irreparable.
