I would think so, we even have our own seven-page thread on their forums, i think it's rather old actually, people have been leaking over there for ages.

Honestly their forums aren't very active in the english section so you probably didn't miss much, the devs and mods do try but i get the feeling that in russia they aren't too big on english.

you're lucky it let you use it in the first place, i had to offload my balance on skrill becouse my country apparently blocks it from extra-european use.

well.. looking at the steam update notes, Cookieduster writes:

Character wipe
Characters will be wiped at around the end of September, shortly before Early Access; there are no further wipes planned afterwards.
