Before I adopt the tag of unofficial forum bug tester, the avatar in the top part of the image is distorted and should look like the corrected version below.

I don't know what causes that distortion. It's likely the theme we use. Unfortunately due to thin resources, we won't be diving into theme CSS to debug their stuff. At least not for awhile.

I know it might be a bit outside the scope of the game at this point but was just thinking it would be kinda cool if your paint job could get scratched/dinged/dulled based on time in combat or whatever damage stats are used. Like you come back from a mining job and your mech will look like its been through a warzone until you repair it, then fresh shiny new again for another round of abuse.
It's possible. Not sure we will get to that, but can look.

Looks like the design is still being tweaked, just wanted to mention that with the current scheme as it is this moment (1216 PST) the dropdowns under the filter menu (as an example, assumed elsewhere as well) are acting very strangely. When first used it's very light colored background with almost the same color text. If I click on another window while the dropdown is open and then click back, suddenly just that specific dropdown turns a dark color. Any other dropdown stays the light color until I do the same action. If I refresh the page they all go back to pale greyish text on pale blue background.

(Should comment that I am really digging the new color scheme updates so far)
I was making changes live. You probably got caught up in that. Forums colors have been tweaked now.

Hi everyone. TY for the feedback.

In response to readability issues we have:
1) Increased Font Sizes
2) Changed various backgrounds (drarkened), highlight and text colors

For front page readability, we've taken some partial methods to improve things:
1) Increased font size
2) Changed yellow font to white

We'll continue to work on the front page.
