Please remember, the playable mockup is some ways away. This milestone covers the art asset creation of the THMPR and Omniframe, with basic animations and no combat or abilities.

We still have some milestones to go, and will apply the extra amount we raised to lower the cost of some of these future milestones (we'll spread it tout). We still have characters, animations, weapons, Tsihu, and more to create, as well as visual and sound effects and coding up the THMPR encounter itself.

TY. I'll also add that with no announced stretch goals, I don't expect a big push at the end of this funding campaign either. That's okay. We don't want to raise more funds at the moment before we deliver some working game assets.

That said, it will be a little while before our next funding round, so if you want the exe's that show off the models we are building, you'd still want to pledge now. Just don't want people to feel left out.

If you guy want to know how crowdfunding curves work, check out kicktraq.com

You see that successful campaigns usually have most of there activity/funding in the first 2-3 days and the last 2-3 days. Everything else in the middle is pretty dead. There are outliers, but this is the typical curve.

That's why generating pre-interest for the KS is so important. The first 48 hours of the campaign will be critical. So getting a "seed" community ready and a demo that backers can show and talk positively about is important. So we're going to do our best to make the demo a lot of fun, even if its a single encounter.

I remember that I was in devils Tusk, not much was happening, another lazy day in the accord. My SIN was a buzz with some news about the latest chosen movements, LVG prices, and this little thing called Ember. Confused as to its meaning I scanned the forums, many of the pilots had differing opinions, spiritual successor some said. lost cause others shouted.

"You know what? Being a ARES pilot isn't about living in safety and comfort!" I said to myself.

I loaded up my sniper rifle and i left Devil's Tusk and the Chosen and headed out off for EM-8ER and a new foe the Tsi-hu.

That's my story on how I heard about Ember.
That's a cool story :)
