Joe is also nearly done with the next step: low-poly game model. Once he's completed this we will rig it for animation and start on texturing the model.

It won't. It just won't. Patience is so damned hard at this point but 3-5 months and a demo (possibly multi) and then things will take off fast. When something playable is out, watch how much hop this community will get to its step.
