Just curious as to if we're recieving any love for the gamers in Australia?
Firefall was amazing but the latency was quite the opposite

If you become an Em-8ER Backer or Patron, you get access to 1 of 2 demos. Currently those are The Rift Demo and The Pilot Omniframe Demo.

I mention this because the test build demos are hosted 24/7 on servers in 3 regions: US, EU, and PACIFIC. Grummz has stated in Discord, the "PACIFIC" server is in Sydney, Australia.

There has been nothing revealed at this phase about where servers will be for the final game upon release. Right now Em-8ER is in a pre-pre-alpha or pre-Kickstarter phase, with the Dev Team aiming for early 2021 for Kickstarter.

Amazon and AWS have made enormous strides in the years since Firefall, I'd like to think it'd be much easier and cheaper to help out the Aussies these days than it was back then
