Finally!!!

i am not sure on the crotch the knee biters would be dangerous... but some may want it big, how big is the biggest just like the biggest busts or rear where could the max be surely not the size of a kaiju??

Armor for private jewels it is essential!!!

I am guessing this will have a filter so that people who rather look at standard size than super mega size areas?

I see no problem in males wearing a cup. Hell, back in my martial arts training days I use to wear a cup all the time for obvious reasons (One, I'm a tall guy. And two, girls tend to aim for that area when they feel they are losing.). Even in games like Warframe where the frames have skin as hard as steel, there are some of the male frames who have on cups (looking at frames like Rhino Prime). And in some shows and games there are male and female modes of mechas (more common in things where the pilot controls the mecha with a biofeedback system because things like proprioception and kinesthesia matters.).

Plus I don't like the idea of there being filters on people to make them look "normal" because who defines what is "normal"? Because there are some people are sizeist and discount anyone who they feel is too large and/or too small deeming them as unnatural despite that is how their body naturally grew. So I don't think there needs to be a filter on how people look unless players are making body shapes that break the laws of physics.

P.S.
For the people who want to know a bit more about proprioception and kinesthesia

With choice there is filters provided for skins, and shapes could be part of that too just have a place holder shape such as the models used for the male / female that we have seen.

Not sure if that is tricky to do, would let players decide if they want to see the unfiltered version or the filtered version giving them choice and to make it more immersive for those who want too.

The best defence is a good offense.

Ah deadly, then females would be given pointy chest guards hmm

The night version would have a lit up end that way pilots are aware as accidents happen most in the dark!!

Airbag Rear are great stops even small vehicles!

Wait, are you not advocating something you like to be censored here?

As for the general idea of armor/cups for that area for the male pilot, I would be in favor of it.

I dislike "realism" because it's become the excuse/keyword that the some people use to censor and prevent attractive female characters from being created, but in this case it would be "equality" as they say, considering that boob plates and bikini armor on female characters have been outlawed now.

The male cup won't happen of course, because no-one would dare upset the fujoshis and female gamers.

Hi!
Good Morning!

I would like to say that the Male and Female Model were very good, congratulations to Crixa, but there is a problem, they are very Pornographic.

I didn't know the Crixa was promoting Visual Pornography.

If I'm not mistaken, there in the United States there is a Rights Commission that prohibits Visual Pornography in public games with the presence of Teenagers.

I have noticed that there is no difference between the Naked Body and the Clothing of the two Models.

Will this idea change or will it continue to be developed?

Thank you for your attention

Good day,

I think there are other games, music videos, animations and shows with far more revealing individuals than Em8er.

I am happy they have a filter system so that the player can have control of what they would like to see or not see.

Layers can also be applied over other layers from what i understand as long as they are compatible. This should give those of us who prefer more of a covered pilot than revealing.

I am sure some would go for the most revealing possible within the games parameters.
The filter will be a great tool so that players are most comfortable in what they see which can include when around younger players or those easily offended nearby.

While peoples opinions may vary on what is or isn't too "sexual", pornography's does, in fact, have more specific legal definitions. The characters we show do not cross the specific lines that would require us to change the game or websites rating to adult only content.

There will be a great variety of suits that the player can wear. Some will be very much on the sexy side, some will not. Hopefully you find some that suit your tastes. Thank you.

They are not promoting what you claim.

Anyway, at least you included the Male model as well, it's usually just Female models that are targeted. How refreshing.

That's just it. The whole point of our various visual filters is because each person has their own preferences of what is appropriate and/or preferred to have on their screen. We are not interest in anyone's judgment of other folks preferences nor do we have any intent to force other people to see our more extreme visual choices. Instead we are focused on providing options so that different people can enjoy the game their own way.

This is a good thing isn't it?

hmmm perhaps there should be, perhaps not. It's worth examining at the very least.
I will make sure this idea get's floated to the devs.

I can see the good intentions in the idea, but I'm aware of the harm such things can do. The filter bubble effect is a real thing and is one of the main roots to the rise of many extremist views over the past 5 to 10 years as both 24 hour news channels and social media makes bubbles around their users to keep them coming back for more. This filters over time warps people sense of reality but changing their ideas of what "normal" is because the filters pick and choice what they can see and hear, as well as paint their idea of right and wrong without anything to challenge or question it. And going by what filters are used can tell you a lot about the person or people who made them. Again I can see the good intentions in the idea. I just don't think it'll work out in the way that you want it because of how humans are and history.

My guess is the filters used for the game is in the individual's control to choose what they like to see and hopefully not by some evil algorithm.

Personally i will use the filter when required and sometimes i may not use the filter.
As for Stereotypes these can be misleading generalization, i think in the game we can have much customization the only thing is what are the filter options? and can we still distinguish one player from another apart from their names / titles ?

Wonder if we will be given the choice to be non-humans as an option because currently there are just human skins for pilots.

In the hops of keeping this post short I'll say that my main concerns can be summed up with these to videos.
This isn't the place to have a whole conversation about echo chambers, algorithms, and the impact on society. All I will say is-
If we are going to factor in what people might do with this choice based on human history, I would argue that not having these choices, in this particular game, is just as prone to certain potential issues based on human history.

At any rate the filters will be there. here is hoping it will turn out to be a positive thing for most folks. Only time will tell us for sure.
