I like it, all looks good.

I do however have one small gripe with the Ember poster art ... please don't hate me :)
Shoei and Arai are competing motorcycle helmet manufacturers, therefore their logos would not be seen on the same race team.

I wore both brands during my time racing, so their logos tend to stick out for me.

Looking forward to seeing more from the Ember world.

Hmm I would love it if my Engineering class were allowed to make the MEK-A. I want a real life working model

Probably won't be allowed though :(

vanilla and TBC WoW nostalgiaaaa. also hyped for the new mmo since Firefall became Firefail...would love to play something like the early Firefall again

I am really curious as to what the T.H.M.P.R will look like when it's "thumping" for resources. What will its stance be? Will it just stick its drill in the ground and hold it there? Or will there be animation with the claw, grabbing resources and stashing them somewhere at the same time as drilling?

Also, what is the last item in the orthographics? Is that the storage container? Perhaps resources go in there, then the capsule closes around them, then the T.H.M.P.R "connects" it to its back, and takes off?

The thumper from Firefall was simple because the resources were just theoretically getting stored inside of it and we didn't see many moving parts.

Able to expand a bit, Mark?

The Thumper will be more animated, shifting its drilling spot and pickup resources that pop out with its claw arm. The storage container starts off as the THMPR "landing shell" and re configures itself to be an anti-grav resource container that floats and is magnetically leashed to the THMPR as it travels back.

I do have to admit that the concept so far seems interesting enough along with the mechanics of the game. So I notice that we'll be guiding this to the nearest player built refinery and that we're terraforming planets, but will those be ANY player that's built a refinery? And if it heads to ANY refinery, is there a "fee" for refining?

I guess I'm going to have to wait for there to be more info on this... too many questions haha

On a side note, nice concept art!
neat idea.
So like if players wanted to, they could either pay and defend the mining or pay and defend the refining.

Great concept and idea.
I take it that the T.H.M.P.R. MEK-A on returning stage will not be able start mining again once stopped?
Being a biped, you mention escorting the leaping, bounding T.H.M.P.R. back to base. Can it walk/run?
And I can see the idea of multiple designs/upgrades of this for single/group players, with it's speed and capacity being a factor.
I play for the challenge, harder the better, so would there be any repairing the T.H.M.P.R. on it's drilling/return stages?
A lot more questions, but I like to think that having adjustable schematics could play a huge factor in the devlopment of future
MeK's.
I know it's early, and surprises are golden. So "watch this space" would be a good answer also.
