Dropoff could be another stat, with a "has/has not" toggle.

Kinetic weapons could be modded to remove it, laser always has it and other weapons can go either way during crafting.

I was reading a comment on an old Firefall video and a main-sniper said that the lack of projectile drop off was odd. Also the projectile speed was really wrong.

The thing is even stuff like laser weapons are effected by gravity because gravity and bend light. Plus when on a plant and any other spinning body snipers always have to take into account things like the Coriolis effect on top of things like gravity and wind.

Fun fact, gravity is not the same everywhere. Even here on Earth in real life some parts of the world have more gravity and others parts have less. And this has to do with the types of rocks, metals, and water in the area. Humans might not notice the difference but when you are in space orbiting the planet it is noticeable as it can pull things off trick if not accounted for.

For the people who don't know what the Coriolis effect is
