Ok lets start with a bang. Do we need/want navies in this game? We have already tanks and aircraft. Surely when we terraform pockets and areas , there would be water (or any liquid we can cross) so… what do you think, Yay or nay?

I'd vote nay, but it would be interesting. I'd like to see underwater areas that you could traverse through, maybe secrets or things, or a water-based Kaiju that only appears in a certain area (that you need to fight on the surface of the water), even a lake where people are deep-sea mining or fishing, but having naval combat might be going too far.

I vote yay navel ships could provide mobile stations in the big sea between islands too.

Amphibious kaiju's they would be a completely different threat than land kaiju's because they can sneak attack under water!!!

Most would be in the water than land, than you typical kaiju i'd imagine they would like to sabotage near the shores and when crossing the sea.

With the capabilities of Special Sea Mek's we can defend our navel force because without it crossing the sea is going to be more tricky.

What about our vehicles ah glad you asked, we could have our navel units cross our vehicles easier sometimes dropships wont be accessible and land vehicles wont be so good in the sea hmm

Underground sea Base like the Atlantis of stargate how cool could that be, sleek futuristic submarine or pods that can go inside the navel mobile base and even or specialised sea meks.

I would love to fly in the air and dive under the water while still being able to fight in both. After all, some animals already do things like that. I mean how do some people think some birds get the fish they need to eat?

IMO...The Meks we have should be air tight, so using what we have already is the best choice. Maybe if you wanted some unique item/feature to display/use during water based encounters - how about water rings/wings ?!

It would make a great way to suddenly vanish from sight, the tsihu may think bahaha we have dropped them from the skies! Then the engines all cut and it goes underwater mode could then deploy some under water units before wooshing out of the water and escaping to the nearest safe zone.

Ah could they deal with the sheer pressure of the deepest depths though i mean the heavy / medium perhaps but i feel the light could be in trouble. Then i wonder something like the iron man suits that hug the main suit or something like the batman suit.

Not as big as those but the idea of that or instead having the pilot gee suit with some reinforced advanced underwater geesuit along side the mek that instructs the mek suit differently with an underwater profile.

Maybe i am watching too much cartoons it makes sense to me :D

Given how the omniframes use a biofeedback system as part of their controls it means that everything the pilot can do the frame can also do. This also includes things like swimming. Even more so in the case of the light mass frames. Because of that I can picture things like this happening when two different factions want to have a cook out on the beach. lol
