First actual thread, How about making it a tombstone for firefall?

So the idea of this is, everyone can say their last words for firefall, since it just went down yesterday. To talk about red5, the game itself, our greatest experiences on it, our last screenshots and what we would really want to see in ember, identical or almost the same.

what we would really want to see in ember, identical or almost the same.

I would like to see resource gathering be a large part of Ember, similar to what we had in beta Firefall.

I liked that there were many different resource types, but we didn't do too much with them - they even had unique properties like toughness and conductivity that were completely wasted in crafting because you actually didn't get to choose what you used those attributes for in T4 crafting (where you would realistically want to use those attributes the most.)

I feel if there were to be any call backs to firefall they should be made, a familiar female voice over should say " Ok Boss, things are different since the corporations took over and all went to hell - No worries now boss, it's all a memory now, were here to finish the fight.

I hope we get a pvp system like we had in the beta. I know it must have been hard to balance, but we could just have different items for pvp or something.

I remember thumping being really fun, but when that was all the game had it was quite boring and I remember having a good time in the old pvp.

Also if you don't bring back the the old theme, you have to at least have one city where everyone just lies around in Hawaiian shirts, doing nothing.

Well, we knew it would happen eventually. I wish the best of luck to the ex-R5 employees and hope the Ember team can learn from Firefall's mistakes. It's kind of heartwarming to see everyone from the Firefall forums migrate to these forums.
The game still has a LOT of potential. Let's just hope Ember can be as good as we wanted Firefall to be.
And if there isn't a Firecat frame to play as, I'm calling the coastguard.

It might be dead (no players), but it's not MIA yet. Forums are still up and you can log into the game and play. Tested 2 minutes ago.

Would be very cool to have a monument in game. Maybe somewhere off the beaten path you can get a small achievement for finding. And it should be reminiscent of someplace that was familiar... maybe like a little sushi bar?
