The environment can give some ways to plan.

Certain Icey surfaces that make many slide across more, this can be good for getting certain tsihu pushed off for some fall damage.

Thin layers of ice and spikey ice in caves the sound of cracking ice even the disturbance from movement can make the surface break or an ice spike to fall from a cave.

Extremely hot firey vents that erupt with a hissing sound and gas before firing out

Quicksand but the grappler tsihu can get away from those.

What other environment hazards could also be a benefit too hmm

Because of the fact that we can glide in this game I would love it if gliding close the ground would help you glide for longer than you normally wound if you gliding higher in the air. This is something we do in real life because of the ground effect but also it is a high risk thing to do because we are so close to the ground. For the people who don't know what the ground effect is..

Also given how some rocks and metals can only form in space it would be nice to have things like meteor showers and other events where things fall from the sky giving us resources that are not naturally founded on the planet. In real life this mostly because heavy metals tend to be much deeper in the ground and harder to get too. When you find them at or near the surface of a planet it is because it often fall from space or an large upheaval event happened, like an basalt mass eruption.

What about types of plants and strange organisms such as in Deep rock galacitc there are vines that are spikey and some that spew poison, also what if there are large kinds of venous fly traps that have a resource inside and if your not too fast snap your trapped and someone has to break you out.

How about if some organisms if stepped on slow you down very bad when your trying to escape and you just got to shoot it or chop them to get loose.

Also what if for some odd organisms you could apply a super heat then use some freeze or the cold environment to cool them down, collect them and put inside the special containers and it is processed as a crystal glass type like resource for lens as an example for various kinds of scopes or lasers etc

I would like to know what are the different types of biodomes we'll have in the game. I know em-8er is a cold planet, so along with the standard fire/lava area you see in all games (although this case it would likely be deep underground where it is much hotter) we might be able to see cryovolcanos with rivers of super cold ice rather than lava.

But what about things like acid fields and acid lakes? We have them in real life here on Earth. Just look up places like Dallol. Also going by the orbit of the em-8er there can be places on the planet where the sun never sets do the tilt of the axis. And going by if there are cave systems on the planet, we could things like giant crystal caves. Like the giant quartz crystal cave in Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico.

There are a lot more examples but you get the idea. And each one can having things that will hurt the player or help them if used right. For example while in the crystal cave you could try knocking over large crystals to try and crush enemies, but they could also do the same to you.

I think we'll see a bit of all of those...with Em.8ER there's the initial unterraformed biome in an area, some sort of between biome while that area is being terraformed, and then the fully terraformed biome. I don't know how many stages of that there'll be but IMO at least 3 stages at launch. And with that they have so many options available but mostly for the fully terraformed final area as the beginning unterraformed area will be a bit limited.
