Unreal Engine has a prety easy way to set up basic controller support, though high quality controller support takes some work.
We are aware controller support is important to a fair amount of people, so we shall see.

the game is not going to have pvp so I think it would be a good idea to give everyone the freedom to play the game how they want. How they feel confortable. If it had some kind of competitive pvp I would be against it. But, I think we are all here for one purpose only, fun.
