Since enemy NPC will have an AI general, could allied NPC have one too?

Some allied NPC could patrol peaceful areas around the base to help protect it, or even find events, one of them could be a distress call about an allied NPC unit that was attacked and need help.
But normally the allied NPC units will not help players in their events for those that don’t want it, except if players send a distress call for other players and nearby allied NPC to help.
In sieged areas, NPC could control base turrets and some omniframes to defend the nearest areas of the base from threats.

About events:
I remember one game called Wakfu, they have an ecosystem feature where players can’t kill mobs and harvest resources too much or they have penalties for everyone in that zone, but if players maintain the resources and mobs population in that zone between 2 values from that area, all players get boosts.

Em8er and allied bases could have some features like those.
In Em8er killing or harvest too much could trigger some penalties or unwanted events, and bases could need water, food, energy and other resources... to function properly, that players could help gather if the allied NPC units couldn’t do it themselves, in events of paying better for those resources in need. (Example: there is an enemy siege incoming but the allied base’s wall or defences aren’t full built, the allied general AI could create an event where they pay special or extra rewards for needed resources to finish that buildings before the siege starts.)

What do you think?

I like the idea that the npc would need resources to help to continue just like fuel and even for self maintaince unless it was extensive then the pilots would need to fix/cure npc manually.

Perhaps there is a general A.I Npc and lets others know of the situation the player can decide if to let their npc help out the general A.I or continuing doing the tasks the player ordered if its an npc of the players creation.

However if the threat level was very high the General A.I could give out a Attention sigal and if the Npc was not given authority to help at that most eventful time then the General A.I would remember that the Npc/pilot are not as reliable if done too many times.

I'd like to see specialist npc so that they could be put into a training and become as an example a Doctor npc or Detective npc etc etc etc

The training could compliment the npc with something more balanced but then you could train them in 2 things but since training involves some kind of tech center lvl and time and resources it is something to consider if you like to focus on npc or something else.

After reading a post from @VRK9 about generals and the npc's i wondered if selected npc's we as players may have control so you could have an npc or pet but not used the same time as an example.

A dolphin in a light suit might not talk much but with the suits emoji's and its synthesized dolphin sounds this could make an interesting npc :D

So could that be we can customize our npc, as an example we may see many npc's walking around base but at least one of ours stands out unless ofc others have the filter option then this wont really matter.

I was thinking, since enemies (tsi-hu and kaiju) have an AI general with the primary mission to destroy players and their bases, while controlling the tsi-hu and kaiju.
Players and allied NPC could have an AI general too, to control allied NPC for simple tasks and “controlling” players with missions and events for rewards to build and defending bases.

Will it be like admiral Nostromo of the Accord in Firefall or An A.I like Cortana from Halo then again it could be all those by taking the knowlege and forms of past generals into its advanced tactical conscious Intelligence and creating a just form for the occasion!

What if a player could work there way to become a Captain so they could direct and could control some npc's just like in C&C to do the things such as defend, attack, patrol not in the grand scale of an A.I General
but have some input .

The A.I general would be the main one ofc but as a captain you could even delegate some npc's in an app without being in the game to support others outposts or friendly bases too. The A.I general could also give you some tactical suggestions not that it can control your npc's directly unless you give it priority access in the event of a major high alert disaster / warning.

I wonder what the A.I general of the enemy could look like if it was seen, could it be some kind of alien looking skull, or something more hideous?

I thought more like I said in the beginning:

“But normally the allied NPC units will not help players in their events for those that don’t want it, except if players send a distress call for other players and nearby allied NPC to help.

More like in those games that players don’t control NPC directly, but just suggest things like defend here or attack there.
