    Em-8ER Backer Recognition

Maybe put us in the lore? That could be really fun to design :Ü™

Having technical issues with the Em-8ER Forums, Web Site or Discord?

I'd like to change my password but couldn't find where to do it. My current password can be cracked in seconds :Ü™ Edit: I circumvented it by using the account recovery feature for now but there should be a proper way to do it from account management as well (which I either didn't find or...

[Suggestion] Another proposal on how to do Character Creation

That's included in the "etc." list point :P Consider it done! I thought along the lines of male and female body parts being fundamentally separated :Ü™

[Suggestion] Another proposal on how to do Character Creation

I thought more along the lines of "everything's made compatible with each other", so the variety of body parts doesn't differ all too greatly; so no hands that are bigger than the head or arms bursting with so much muscle that they're thicker than your legs. Generally the range of available...

[Suggestion] Another proposal on how to do Character Creation

First things first a summary of the other proposals: The original idea was to sell whole characters. The current idea is about having sliders in character creations and then later put on swappable clothing on them. Now to my proposal: Have bodyparts be swappable (ideally even post...

Video Update 8 - Choose the THMPR Laugh

Since Tsi-Hu should sound japanese-ish, it should most aptly be read like a transliteration from japanese and those are usually more german than english and the only way to pronounce Tsi-Hu in german is TSee-who / TSee-Hoo :Ü™

Friday Update - Omniframe Tweaks Done

So I found a short introduction on shapes in character design: Though I'm too deep into my morning-sloth to breakdown the different Omniframe designs into its shapes (rn) >.> :Ü™

Friday Update - Omniframe Tweaks Done

I just remembered something about shapes and how they affect our perception of things. I'll do some research and explain my gripes with the new design more; tomorrow (because I'm just about to go to bed and it's already an hour past bedtime >.>) :Ü™

Friday Update - Omniframe Tweaks Done

This version is only half as tall you think it is, look at the cockpit. But it shouldn't look like an exosuit, it should be the cross of a mecha and an exosuit, a MEK. Also, I'm not advocating for it to be more tank like, I want it to be bigger so it is able to be more slender to be more elegant :Ü™

Friday Update - Omniframe Tweaks Done

Thanks for putting a lot of what I can only describe vaguely and with feelings into more down to earth words. Though I have to add that I really dig the hypermasculine look of the Mk. I and that's something I'm drawn to in Mech's. I personally like the 3rd D.Va design the most, 4 and 5 are less...

Friday Update - Omniframe Tweaks Done

Now with the redesign of the lower legs, they are too static. You should add more moving parts And I also have concur to Terricon4 that this really lacks the hypermasculine shoulders of the Mk. I and while they're still large they no longer look like real engines but more like support which...

    IMPORTANT: Omniframe Mk II

That's not a problem. The Omniframe has shields. Furthermore part of the Omniframe's core design philosophy is vulnerability and I, frankly, think that the Mk. II is far too safe, stury. It isn't vulnerable enough :Ü™

    IMPORTANT: Omniframe Mk II

Now that I've slept a night over it, I've really come to oppose the Mk. II. Simply because it' core desing philosophy is different from the Omniframe's. Mk. II is not an Omniframe it's something different. Sadly I'm currently at school so I can't write out a full rant but I will do so once I get...

    IMPORTANT: Omniframe Mk II

But the Mk. I pilot is protected by forcefields. And the hard driver mode of Mk. I has even thicker armor than the Mk. II :Ü™

    IMPORTANT: Omniframe Mk II

Tbh a lot of us are weebs, so japanese style wouldn't be a deal breaker but I think the mix is really important. You appeal to the largest group of people with it and more importantly it's original not a some already established style but something of its own :Ü™

    IMPORTANT: Omniframe Mk II

I looked a little more intensely at the Mk. I and I think the feet aren't really that much of a problem considering/assuming that the feet aren't what majorly supports the Omniframe's weight. The Mk. I supports its weight mostly with its thrusters and the feet are just there to give...

    IMPORTANT: Omniframe Mk II

Important: Compare the artworks not a model with an atwork! In my opinion the hard-driver mode's back should be the standard back. Also Thumper size for comparison and potential to upscale Omniframe sizes: Now, the Mk. II sketch as a reminder: :Ü™ Edit: The Heavy and Light version of...

    IMPORTANT: Omniframe Mk II

Look at the arms. The model's arms are about two times as thick relatively speaking. Also the shoulder pads are about 3 times bigger than the artwork's. Furthermore everything has more edges instead of curves and is more disjointed :Ü™
