SSL server configuration : you call that "secure" ?

3DES is a reuse of the very old DES, by chaining it multiple times. But the algorithm itself is vulnerable to multiple attacks vector, especially a possible "known-plaintext" attack, with is a big problem for ssl, as there is a lot of known plaintext (http verbs, html tags, etc...), thus making...

    The Omniframe Revealed

Yet another relevant Extra Credits video: More or less explain what I feels too. I would also add something obvious: the camera being behind us (unless some crazy game designer choose otherwise), we won't see our operator that much.

Suggestion for Omniframe "Class" System: Combing the Tech Tree with Limitless Choice

As some seems to want a tier system, and other a classless system. Each system have it's own good and bad points. But done right, an hybrid from the two could be a good idea. In my opinion, The Secret World progression system is a good example of such hybrid progression system. More info on...

I would like to see this run on LInux...

Yes, OpenGL games are more expensive than DirectX ones, not because it is harder to code with it, but because there is less people that where trained to use it. But in our case, Unreal already have an OpenGL renderer, so it won't be a problem. And Linux fans are known for being hardcore ones...

    Regarding night vision

Exactly. We shouldn't sacrifice the gameplay on the realism altar (French expression, not sure if it is similar in English).

    Regarding night vision

Sure night vision would be great, sure their technology should be able to make a good night vision... But would it be wort it, gameplay wise? Having a very dark night, with only a flash-light, could provide some variation to the gameplay. At night, we wouldn't be able to see everything around...
