Actually the car paint look is deliberate. The frames and mechs are all supposed to be painted metal with an "build your car" type of theme.

Do you see the big "new" icon next to the forum section titles? I believe this indicates if there are unread posts in that section.

Hello....what do you mean by plastic? Can you post a screenshot? We use PBR materials, which are very advanced shaders. The metals look extremely realistic in engine.

So that skin was not set up properly with the right shader in Unreal. If you check our earlier video when we first debut the characters, you should see a better shader setup. I'm not satisfied either yet, and we will keep working on it. But Omniframe is priority now. TY!

The arms are motion controlled via pilots own arm movements! Like Kinect, but it works and doesn't suck :P

The skin has been bugging me, myself. But its something we will have to revisit later after we get more down the road.

Do you mean the character specifically? I take it you mean the skin on the face and probably the hair?
