    Thanks Sy! Good feedback! I'm not so concerned about the dodge as its only meant to be played from a stop (when AI is controlling it). How were the animations themselves? Also, I believe its possible to test the flinches but I forget the key.

    I think you should build MEK-A (automated) like SCVs to do the work on your claimstake.

    I had no idea they were planning this, but FFXIV just released claimstakes for all subscribers, complete with farming (which I was planning on). It's the most popular feature and the servers getting full.

    Cowboys and rugged individualism is always how the lore was intended. I had in mind how the farmers of Israel had to band together an militarize eventually. Blended with a healthy dose of Heinlein and TANSTAFL. In the novel there are different houses and factions.

    BTW it was 30 mins to first thumping in Firefall if you were a newbie. Perspective is good. Also, you will start in home with many other players around you. That is the first thing you see.

    Progressive claimstakes would be good. Because we don't want a lot of abandoned ones by new players who decide the game is not for them. A temporary starting one might be the way to go. And bigger ones , or combining them for guilds.

    Additional takeaway: Don't make me have to build my buildings piece by piece and spend forever in my claimstake zone. Noted: Prefabs will be available from start to just slap down. Build from scratch will be an advanced option.

    Bottom line...we need to make sure we get to the pew-pew multiplayer core that makes Firefall, Firefall. Time to thumping, 10 mins Time to multiplayer main zone, 30 mins. Noted.

    This. It's about leveraging player content to drive the world and benefit the community at large. It only takes a handful of good creators to provide benefit to everyone else. How do we leverage this and make it an amazing content machine? That's the correct path.
