Here goes some more :

Departing some time later, the group of heroes, along with the ship crew and their temporary dwarf followers set out to the maelstrom in the middle of the forbidden sea, the trip there went smoothly until the day before their arrival, there, the shamaness felt a spell being cast, however, upon noticing that spell simply summoning a storm, which would not affect the ship thanks to some magical items the norsemen had, they chased it off by diving underwater to pursue the siren magician, it seemingly was fairly skilled at swimming away as they never heard of it again.

The next day, some time before reaching the maelstrom, the sirens hadn't said their last words, and attempted another assault, the vikings were prepared and easily held off the onslaught, at least until 4 troll sized (4 meter tall-ish) half-woman half sea-serpents creatures climbed on board, all 4 wore a cutlass in each of their 4 hands (as they had 4 arms) and they were entirely covered in a magical armor of an unknown material, even on their snake tail.
The first one was blown off the ship, along with a part of the ship, by one of the norse archers who had a bow which made its arrows explode, the other three fought furiously, dealing some casualties, a second one soon fell to the hands of a berserker, who had dealt a critical blow to one of its arms, piercing the magical armor and ignoring its effect, it wasn't dead, but it was knocked out and he would soon finish it off.
The third and fourth were dealt with by the shamaness, whose spells were not bothered by heavy armors, the sirens soon retreated, they would most likely never attack a norse ship again, should one come back some day...

As they arrived near the maelstrom, good news came upon the shamaness's ears, her father the great shaman had received news from the other shaman on Fornheim that the dwarfs had finally arrived safely from the sea, and joined their High king back home by using the portal there.

Passing through the Maelstrom, the captain decided the priority would be to drop off the dwarfs of Karak Azul at Fornheim as well, their complaints of being on sea were unsurprisingly increasing.
A short trip later, they arrived without any trouble and left as soon as the dwarfs disembarked, they headed straight back home, through the maelstrom again, and half a day later, they arrived.

However, while sailing along the shore on the way home, they spotted a dwarf slayer walking towards the village, a small keg of beer on his shoulder, a surprising sight, even more so that he was clearly a dragonslayer according to his tatoos and crest that was as tall as himself. they picked him up and soon learned that he had come back from the afterlife after accidentally being sent there by a goblin shaman who had screwed up a spell (typical of them). Odin himself had dropped him off at the nearest dwarf outpost, which had been abandoned a few months prior. The all-father himself had told our slayer that he was not supposed to be on Asgard yet, and so to Midgard he was returned. the slayer had picked up a keg of Valaya's, the dwarf goddess's beer (trademark all copyright reserved), to bring along the way, can't risk getting thirsty!
The slayer was equipped with two bracelets, each of which had long chains, both bound to an axe, the runes upon them were unsurprisingly strong, and had another rune which prevented him from removing them.
All he remembered from the afterlife was fighting a red dragon thousands of times, always being killed one way or another, until the last time where three norsemen appeared to help him, he succeeded in defeating it with their help. The important thing he remembered from his life on Midgard however was that he lived around 500 years before the current year, unphased, he joined the heroes on their prophecy, slaying was to be done, and perhaps he would finally find the death he seeks, rightfully and properly earning himself a place in Asgard.

Later, at the village, the crew spent a few days at shore for repairs, which let the warriors rest at home. After this was over, they sailed to meet with brownbeard the dwarf pirate captain, perhaps he would have information or goods of use.

Not even a day later, they arrived and exchanged informations, goods and some other trinkets with brownbeard, after hearing their story, he then went to speak to one of the few of his fish-men, these creatures worked for him as mercenaries and came from the bottom of the sea, they looked just like humans apart from their webbed hands and feet as well as their gills, which allowed them to breathe underwater as well as above it. A conversation later, brownbeard announced that the fish-man would accompany them to their next destination, the bottom of the sea of the star, where one of the idols was supposed to be.

On the way there, he conversed with the norsemen, only the absolutely necessary information was shared, and the ship continued to it's destination, on the way, it was met with a storm and fifi, brownbeard's pet kraken, the gigantic creature followed them, until they got close to their destination.

Having gone underwater with the ship thanks to yet more magical items, they sailed downwards for a long time, until they were met with a large figure lurking in the dark waters of the depths around them, the shamaness activated her staff's magical light stone, there, barely a hundred meters from them, a water dragon (literally made out of water) stared at them, unmoving, it seemingly judged the will of norsemen, and, after no menacing movement, nodded its head to tell them to follow him, which they did, the waters grew progressively brighter, this was surprising as they hadn't changed depth and were still almost two kilometers under the surface of the sea.

Soon, they came upon an amazing sight, multiple water dragons, calmly swimming around a giant underwater dome, in which an entire city was. Fish-men were walking around, tending to their normal lives and duties. The fish-man aboard welcomed the norsemen to his home, Atlantis, in there was located the 6th mythril idol.
the ship sailed towards the dome's entrance, where a few disembarked to meet the locals, some goods and informations exchange proceeded, to which resulted the fish-men learning about the power of the maelstroms to travel from one sea to another, they would finally be able to take the war to the siren homeland, with this new information, the fish-men king gladly offered the mythril idol as payment, along with reinforcing the ship with some aquasteel, the same material that the half-woman half-sea serpent creatures wore as armor earlier. Being slightly stronger than normal steel, aquasteel also never rusted. The mythril idol was clearly no loss for the fish-men, as they had just obtained it a few months ago, when some ships from a human fleet sunk to the bottom of the sea, they simply had to claim the loot and get it home, how convenient. After accepting a the suggestion of starting a trade route between norsemen and fish-men, the sea-dwellers saw the norsemen off, wishing them much luck upon their quest.

And so, after yet more diplomacy and trading, they set sail back to Fornheim, from there they would enter Karak Kazadaldrhun and then head to Karak Agrilbarag, where the greenskin Waaagh and the last mythril idol are located.

Halfway to the maelstrom, the water under the ship started moving, this movement was familiar to the norse captain, a kraken, however, this clearly wasn't brownbeard's kraken fifi, rushing to prepare for a problematic situation, the crew brought every warrior onto the deck, the captain used his magical foghorn to make the ship dive, rushing towards the incoming kraken. the dragonslayer and the 3 chosen berserkers each equiped a seashell of minor elemental adaptation, so that they could breathe underwater and not suffer water pressure. they then rushed to the edge of the ship and jumped in the water, straight towards the kraken.
A swift battle ensued between the glorious warriors and the enormous sea monster, losing tentacles one after the other, it soon died, and the norsemen would spend the next few days cutting up kraken bits and storing them in the bottomless chest on board. After another victory worthy of a song or twelve, they continued onwards to Fornheim, arriving a mere week later.

Holy crap did the campaign advance in a small afternoon, really epic fight against that kraken too.

One more part after this one, and it will all come to an end.

Entering Karak Kazadalrhun through Fornheim's teleportation stone, the norsemen met with their dwarfen allies, the self-proclaimed king of Karak Azul in the chinese empire was now officially approved, and they had all been working to clean the numerous rooms and corridors, sorting abandoned gear and putting back to work what was needed, opening back the stasis chambers, thanks to powerful runes of stasis fields, the great-horned mountain goats were in perfect shape in their enclosures, as if they had only been left alone for a single day, the great and secret storage rooms were also opened, containing strong runic items, some of which the High king Galdmindir gifted to the heroic norse warriors, another secret room they opened was the potion stasis storage, functioning in the same way as the goat enclosures. The magical brews would also greatly help the heroes on their final quest to obtain the last idol.

The dwarf ranger, Gramdir, which the other group of chosen ones, now thought lost, saved from the clutches of the greenskin waaagh, would be leading them to the secret entrance of Karak Agrilbarag, which the miner Kazun had made to escape. From there, they would enter and fight their way to the greenskin warboss, slaughtering his warriors would be a sure way to draw him out, this way, the norsemen could attempt to negotiate a temporary peace against the undead menace, as well as obtain the last idol. Meanwhile, the dwarfs would prepare themselves, they would soon join up with the norsemen for one final battle against the undead army and their demonic leaders.

Two weeks later, the great doors of Karak Agrilbarag came into view, the fortress which had been abandoned by the dwarfs dozens of years before the demons laid waste to their kingdom, Gramdir led the group in the shadows of the snowy hills of the Karaz-Ankor, out of sight from the greenskin patrols, their entrance was only a few kilometers away. A hill later, they spotted a strange sight on another hill right in front of them, a single wolf sat on top of it, the abnormality was its red fur. The creature then turned its head and looked at the distant norsemen, which were surprised by one of its eyes having a strong red lens flare effect, after looking for a few seconds, the wolf sat up and disappeared from sight. Quite confused at this sight, the shamaness asked her father about it, who knew what it was right away, as the other group had encountered it before, in the same place. This was a mythical creature known as the Eye of Fenrir, said to appear in dire times for the norse people. This was a very good omen.

Not long after, they reached their entrance, which was buried under a thick layer of snow. after some shoveling, the way opened, although quite cramped, the norse warriors were able to pass by crawling. A while later, they entered the mines of Karak Agrilbarag, from there, they advanced as silently as possible towards the main tunnel, ambushing and slaughtering any patrol they met. more bloodshed later, the main tunnel came into view, upon entering this tunnel, stealth would be of no use anymore, they readied their weapons, and rushed out, greenskins soon noticed their presence, and the norsemen were soon surrounded by all kinds of foes, such as goblins, orks, black orks, trolls and some goblins riding giant spiders on the tunnel ceiling, raining a storm of arrows upon them, however, the shamaness protected her warriors with a shield to block out the projectiles, she also countered any spell launched by goblin shamans, the ones who didn't explode in their own faces at least.

The battle was long and brutal, but thanks to their new dragonslayer ally, the trolls quickly fell and the line had no trouble holding. An immense shout made the greenskins cease combat and fall back a few meters. The Warboss had arrived and ordered his warriors to stop fighting.

Having obtained the audience they sought, the norse warriors explained what they were looking for, the ork warboss, which was twice the size of a normal ork, answered in common tongue and led them to the throne room, there, they saw the idol of Morgrimm, dwarf ancestor god of engineering. However, that was not the only thing in the room, a man and a woman stood there, both obviously norsemen, they didn't seem to want to be here, judging by their faces.

Obtaining permission from the ork warboss Gahzgut to speak, they explained that he had taken them as slaves and advisors, claiming a human take on things would be of use. They had been ambushed while travelling from a norse village to another, over twenty years earlier. They were also with their baby, merely a year old then, Askel was his name, and they had hid him just before being captured, the greenskin had not found him. He was a young shaman. Their first question was wether he had ever been found or not, the shamaness telepathically asked her father about him, and it turned out this Askel was the same Askel that was one of the three chosen ones in the other group. Doomhammer, the dragonslayer, recognised the name, he had defeated a dragon with him and two other warriors in the afterlife, much was explained then.
The parents introduced themselves as Alfgeir and Yrsa, the Ironside family.

This discussion over, Gahzgut the warboss spoke up and questioned the heores, the shamaness, meanwhile, seemed quite deep in thought, and soon, she shouted "protect me! do not harm the warboss!", as she did, she started casting a spell, and the warboss seemed to convulse, the black orks, the warboss's bodyguards, charged their leader's attackers, a short assault later, the warboss shouted again, seemingly insulting the greenskin bodyguards in their tongue, they left the room, leaving him alone with the norse warriors.

The ork greeted them in Khazalid, to their surprise. The shamaness explained that she had felt some very strange about the behaviour of the warboss, and figured out two souls were trapped in his body, she destroyed the ork's soul, leaving a dwarfen soul in control.
Indeed, the "ork" explained himself, and he turned out to be Grooseg Gorlgrund, a dwarfen runelord, he was the leader of the group of dwarfs that was ambushed over 80 years ago, before being slain by the warboss, he had used an item of his and transfered his soul into the ork's body. From then on, he had affected the greenskin's decisions, such as sparing the dwarf women and children, and taking two humans as his advisors. Another mystery revealed.

Now in control of the body, the runelord went along with the norsemen's requests, he gave them the idol and would be launching the greenskin waaagh against the undead, when the time would arrive to do so. He let the ork's advisors join the norsemen for their return home, the dragonslayer, decided to stay with the runelord, he would act as if he had been defeated by the warboss, boosting the ork's popularity amongst his troops, and keeping the dwarf some company at the same time. The runelord wasn't happy about being in a greenskin body, but there was nothing anyone could do about it.

Some more speaking later, the shamaness figured out something might be up with this fortress, she started checking every wall with her rune-detecting stone, and found a hidden rune, activating it, it led into a small corridor, which then led to an enormous room, in it was a giant ballista, made out of living silver, a metal of which the recipe was unknown to all but the dwarf ancestor gods. The team of heroes had 3 weapons made of it and Thor himself had said that around 20 weapons made of this were scattered over the world, the locations unknown. This ballista was one of them. Activating some runes, the floor started rising, and the mountain opened, out came the giant ballista along with everyone in the room, with a great view of the area. This weapon had no doubt been made by the dwarf ancestor gods themselves, most likely to kill any red dragon baited by the smell of the great treasury hidden underground beneath the fortress. With yet another great asset on their side, they returned to the inside of the fortress, lowering the platform back into the mountain. It was time to go back home.

The greatest battle of the era was soon to begin.

So many things revealed and explained, and next time, it's going to be a proper fight, don't expect it soon however ^^.

the slayer had picked up a keg of Valaya's, the dwarf goddess's beer (trademark all copyright reserved)
I imagine it is a super concentrated drink but small amounts needed but they didnt have a camel back then, so perhaps some tubing that went directly into it and the keg strapped to the back.

Some kegs could be used as traps when the keg was broken the maggot would attempt to attach itself to the opponents chin and form a goatee that drains the lifeforce unless the goatee like maggot is chopped

it's going to be a proper fight, don't expect it soon however ^^.
small golems that carry tactical skunks disguised as a cat with a message attached on its tail who are thrown into a crowd perhaps the skunk marks the enemy with a good stinker and the trail leads them to where the rest are or makes them suffocate!

I like to see a god eating a mountain and turning into a mountain then all know the mountain god is back and when the mountain calls the goat watches and lets the mountain know of any visits.

Goats protect the mountain god they are not demonic but some are and live near the god of fire volcano mountain the angry.
